What are Binaural Beats, Monaural Beats and Isochronic Tones ?

Throughout time there have been and always will be many unexplainable mysteries. Modern technology has led us to some amazing new theories. Mysteries of the mind have been some of the most baffling. Through the power of the mind humans are able to do many amazing things but only if you believe. Binaural Healing will try to tackle the topic of Brainwave Entrainment (Binaural Beats, Monaural Beats, Isochronic Tones) and all the incredible results that can be produced.

Even in ancient days people were aware of the importance of being in the right state of the mind and performed rituals for the purpose of Brainwave Entrainment (Binaural Beats). Stonehenge, one of the great wonders of the world, has been a place of these ancient rituals. The rituals included the use of drums creating rhythmic beats until the perfect tempo was reached to induce a deep trance. Today we can recreate these beats with the use of computer software.

It is believed that when a person was in a trance they were able to contact the spirits of people that have passed to the afterlife. Modern scientific research has shown that repetitive drum beats can affect brainwave frequencies. In such a state of mind there could be an increased awareness which some people have claimed to be able to sense the presence of spirits. This is not definitive proof of the existence of spirits but it comes down to each individual’s willingness to suspend disbelief. It is believed that by altering brainwaves is essentially altering a state of consciousness.

Could this be the mind’s doorway to our own spiritual existence?

Scientists have conducted tests with the use of Binaural Beats, Monaural Beats, Isochronic Tones and brain imaging systems and have found the specific sounds and beats could alter a state of consciousness. It is in these states that people have claimed to have out-of-body experiences and was able to see the room from above. Others claimed to be able to see far away lands and different time periods.

 How It Works

Binaural Beats, Monaural Beats and Isochronic Tones are computer generated soundwaves mixed with soothing sounds (for example: rippling water) and musical tones to put you in a calming meditative state making brainwave entrainment easy. You will be able to connect with your subconscious and tune your mind to achieve your needs. Binaural Beats can be found at The Unexplainable Store

More technically specific:

Binaural Beats result from hearing two seperate frequencies, one in each ear. Hearing the difference between the two frequencies, the brain then creates a “new” frequency. For example, if you hear a 210 Hz tone in your right ear and 200 Hz tone in your left, your brain hears 10 Hz (210-200=10).

Monaural Beats- This technology uses two tones of equal intensity which result in a crisp and clean sound. Unlike Binaural Beats, Monaural beats are easier on your brain because there is no need to balance the tones and your mind does not need adjusting time. Monaural Beats use a single tone that pulses on and off in specific patterns, which is tuned specifically for the frequencies that produce the desired effect.

Isochronic Tones- If you are looking for the most effective type of brainwave entrainment, Isochronic Tones are the way to go. Isochronic Tones also use equal intensity tones, but the pulse speed is greater, causing the brain to synchronize with the rhythm.  In 1999, Thomas Budzynski Ph.D.  published a case in the Journal of Neurotherapy which showed that a group of 8 college students increased their GPA with the use of audio brainwave stimulation, and their GPA continued to increase even after the experiment was finished!

Since I have been interested in healing music and binaural beats I started looking around for something new, when ran across a great Mp3′s at your website

They are highly enjoyable and most important, it gave me exactly what I needed and paid for. I love brainwave entrainment.

Why can’t binaural beats be more conventional?

  6. I personally believe that binaural beats are the most effective form of brainwave entrainment but that is my own personal opinion. Everyone’s experience is different when using these audios and so you have to try them all to see what works best for you.
